51 Hi, and welcome to the Sound of Gold. I'm so glad that you're here with me today, and I'm excited. It is still the holiday day season, and this is my favorite time of year. I'm here in my home studio by my keyboard, and I have my chimes, my rainstick, all my musical tools that I like to play. And I hope you're doing well. I hope you are enjoying the holidays and whatever holiday you celebrate. And I hope you've had some downtime with friends and family or just some alone time, just to regroup and take a break from the routines of everything. We all need that sometimes.

32 If you're new to the show or if you've been here, you know them all about music. My focus is on music, musicians, music venues, music teachers, music schools and wanting to keep music alive in our communities. And I don't know where you're tuning in from, however, I do promise you wherever you are in the world, or even close to town, there is always a venue that you can attend that you can be a part of. Whether you're a. Musician or you just want to go out and listen to music. I promise in your area there is a local place for you to go to, and all you need to do is either google it or maybe make a couple of phone calls and find out where where venues are and talk with people. Talk with friends because they will help you get an idea of where places are as well. In addition to that, I'm focusing today on specifically on music instruments. Now, depending on what instrument you play, you may want to go to. I don't know your town. I know here in Florida we have the Guitar Center.

47 We have. I mean, of course, on Amazon you can buy an instrument. However, there's nothing like getting the real feel for an instrument and getting to try the instrument out before buying. And one of our. Local places here in Jupiter, Florida is j Wolf guitars. J Wolf Guitars has been in business I think since nineteen eighty nine, and or it might be nineteen ninety eight. Sometimes I remember numbers differently or backwards, but they've been in business a long time and they are worldwide. You can go online to shop at their store. However, as I mentioned, it's always better to be in person to get to try out different instruments and specifically, Jay Guitars has guitars, and they are my guests today. It is the holiday season. I think we are all thrown off on our schedules, and in fact, today I thought it was Tuesday, and so maybe I'm not the only one out there to kind of recess and reset our schedule and our thoughts of where what day we are in.

57 So with that being said, I don't know Jay might tune in later on in our show because he might be might be still hung up in the holidays, and which is which is kind of like all of us right now. So I had a student earlier today and she calls this the holiday bubble, right or if you celebrate Christmas, we called it the Christmas bubble because I celebrate Christmas. So so yeah, so Jay, I think maybe still in the holiday bubble, so uh, he may join us today and and if he's still celebrating holidays in his bubble, we will definitely have him come back. But let's hope, let's keep our fingers crossed that he'll tune in today. And and so what I thought we could do.

47 And if you know me or you've heard of me or heard of what I do, I am known in my community as the instant composer. So I don't have any sheet music here, I don't have anyth memorized. I just kind of play in the moment and I feed off of your energy and I just feel what I feel and channel in and play more or less what you need to hear. And I really enjoy doing that. So until we have Jay log in, and I have my cats here with me joining me, until we have him log in today, I'm gonna play for you. So sit back and relax. If you're in a space, in a place where you can close your eyes and just relax, awesome.

29 If you're driving, don't close your eyes, but you could still relax and enjoy the music. And like I said, I don't have anything memorized here. I'm just gonna play. For you, and I hope you enjoy, So sit back and relax.

I used to play for a couple hours every week for everybody out there, so I get to do it again for you. So sit back and relax, enjoy, and I'm just playing what I'm playing, whatever's channeling through and maybe blessed where you are and what you're doing.

And I mentioned earlier if you're just tuning in that some of us are still in that holiday and perhaps J Guitars is we'll be tuning in with us shortly, and if not, they're still in the holiday bubble. So what I'm doing today is I get to play for you, and this is something I absolutely love to do. So sit back and relax wherever you are, whatever you're doing, allow my music to kind of let you drift off, although if you are driving, do not drift off the road.

57 I hope you've been enjoying listening to my playing today. And again I mentioned earlier, I am so glad that you're here with me and everyone is kind of still sucking that holiday bubble and our guests today, as I mentioned, Jay Wolf and Wolf Guitars is a wonderful, wonderful store, and I look forward to having him back on our show another time, maybe when everybody's settled back down and back on Earth, and and we'll have him on another day what Effine said. We are in the last few days of the year twenty twenty five, and I just want to wish you all a very happy new year ahead, a very blessed new year ahead. And I always believe that the way you end a year, you start a year.

46 And especially I don't know if you're into the horoscopes or into the spirituality of it, twenty twenty five has been the year of the Snake, and we're going into the year of the fire Horse, and so leaving behind in twenty twenty five a lot of old stuff, a lot of negativity, a lot of things that we've shed, and so entering into the new year, we want to enter with both feet on the ground. And it's a year of co creating. And so whatever ideas you have started or have thought about beginning, go forth with them, and maybe blessed triple fold in all that you that you do in your endeavors. And most of all, I think it's really important to say, don't forget about you. Right, We're so busy, at least I am. I'm always busy doing and going, and I don't spend enough time being.

44 And I think that's important for all of us it's an important reminder to do more being than doing. And I know to myself and as well, make sure you take time out to remind yourself that you love you. Right, It's important to love you because everything you do is because of you. And yeah, no more with excuses of. Surrounding yourself with maybe negative people or negative energy. Just remember to be in alignment with your heart, be everything that you are, and don't be afraid of that because your heart is beautiful and you matter and you're so important.

26 And you know, I think we all get in our own way. And we all think twice about who we're with or what we're doing when we're doing. So let's just stop. Let's just move forward into the new year, loving ourselves more, reminding ourselves that we matter so much, and continuing to love the people around us that inspire us and that love us back. And let's not waste our energy on the old stuff. Let's not waste our energy and the stuff that doesn't inspire us. Right, happyness year everyone. We have a couple of days left, so make the best of twenty twenty five in the next couple of days and ends it off right and beginning it and begin a new year right, and I look forward to seeing you next year and may be blessed.

17 Love you all,
